The first site-seeing type thing we did was to check out the blowholes. These are only on the East End (the side of the island we stayed on) and were only about ten minutes from our house.
The walk down didn't seem like it would be that big of a deal at first, but as we walked across the rocky ground, full of holes and crevices, it did get a little tricky with the kids. They loved it though and wanted to be very independent.
I don't have great pictures of the blowholes because it was difficult just making sure the kids were ok, but we were sufficiently impressed - much more than we were when we saw the blowholes in Maui on our honeymoon.
