Grand Cayman Island - Wreck of the Ten Sails

After going the the blowholes and then having dinner at the house, we went to see the Wreck of the Ten Sails before the sun went down. The picture above shows the propeller from one of the ships.

When we first got out of the car, we saw saw several wild chickens, which the kids, especially Jared, loved to chase around. During our two weeks here, we grew pretty used to seeing wild chickens.

After looking at a few artifacts from the ships, we walked down a short trail to the ocean, where, if you had binoculars or could zoom in with the videocamera, you could see part of one of the ships still sticking out of the water. It's a popular dive site around here. We took our pictures in front of a plaque commemorating the date Queen Elizabeth II stood at that spot to view the wreck.
